ABS Plastic
ABS plastic combines excellent rigidity, hardness and impact toughness. It features favorable mechanical strength and energy‑absorbing capacity against impact, and is resistant to brittle fracture even at low temperatures. It also delivers good heat‑resistance and low‑temperature resistance. Finished articles possess high surface gloss, are easy to color and suitable for secondary processing such as electroplating and spraying, with favorable electrical insulation performance. Nevertheless, ABS shows poor weather‑resistance. It tends to age and discolor under long‑term UV exposure, and its solvent resistance is limited. Stress cracking may occur when contacting certain chemicals such as ketones and esters.
Main Applications
Automotive Industry: Widely used for automotive instrument panels, door panels, interior trims, radiator grilles, rear‑view mirror housings and various decorative parts.
Electrical & Electronics: Commonly applied for housings of home appliances including TV sets, washing machines, air‑conditioners and vacuum cleaners, as well as casings and internal components for office equipment such as monitors, printers and copiers.
Consumer Goods & Daily Articles: Manufactured into luggage shells, toys (e.g. building blocks), helmets, food containers and cosmetic packaging bottles.
Pipes & Fittings: Applied for building drainage and sewage systems as well as indoor ventilation ducts.
Other Industrial Fields: In mechanical industry, ABS is used for transmission parts including gears, bearings and pump impellers. In medical sector, it is adopted for medical‑device housings and components.
Impact strength: 8‑20 kJ/m² Please specify other requirements: color, gloss level, surface pitting, environmental compliance and other physical‑property parameters.
MOQ: 1 ton upon successful sample testing. After‑sales: return and replacement for quality‑related defects.
